Hosting providers... Attention!
This application allows you to manage the IIS bindings of your website via your DNN web portal.
You do not need to access your web server via remote access, just for adding the new IIS binding or removing existing ones. It will save you as hosting provider a lot of time, without having to buy expensive licences for your server management.
We recommend to use the LocalSystem user to run the website (IIS-->Application pools-->advanced settings).
This user needs access to IIS administration actions.
Handle with care! This application can bring websites offline. You should never use this on websites you do not own. Shared hosting providers will not change the username of the application pool to protect the environment and you will not be able to use this.
This module should only be used by host users owning the server they manage.
It is tested on DNN6 & 7 and on IIS7
