Why two factor authentication (2fa) for your DotNetNuke (DNN) and Evoq sites is important and necessary?

Your accounts and data are safer with a strong password, but if there is a breach, you'll need something more secure. Two-factor authentication, or 2FA, adds another layer of security to your personal information. Basically, two-factor verification (2FA) is an approach to account security. In this approach, something or someone granted the access after submitting multiple pieces of evidence to the authentication mechanism.
This mechanism makes sure that you are the owner of your account and not someone who knows the correct password. During a data breach user credentials can be easily stolen. But additional credentials or factors which belong specifically to you will help you in keeping your data and account safe.
