Main features

• Supported Social Platforms

  Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google, SoundCloud, Amazon, Github, Yahoo and DropBox.

• User Registrations

  Make it easy for people to register on your site through OnyakTech Social. During new user registration OnyakTech Social extracts details about the user from the social platform and uses that information to register their account on your web site. You also have control over how the users are registered through the OnyakTech Social module settings to control features like user name (choose between their email address, first and last name or their user name registered on the social site).

• User Logins

  You can also use OnyakTech Social to make it easy for people to login using the social provider of their choice. People can also login using a different social provider than what they previously used depending on the user registration options you choose and their email or user name listed on the social sites.

• Extended User Profiles

  During user registration and login OnyakTech Social obtains detailed information about the user from the social site and stores that information into the database and their DNN User Profile. You can also use the OnyakTech Social API to access this information from your custom DNN extensions.

• Logging

  All transactions with social providers are logged into a table in your database. If you need detailed tracing you can enable the OnyakTech Log4Net Appender to view low level activity details just as you do now with the DNN log files.

• Client API

  OnyakTech Social includes a client-side API access through JavaScript. Giving you the ability to control OnyakTech Social on the client to extend it to match your needs.

• Server API

  OnyakTech Social also includes a server side API you can reference in your C# or VB.Net DNN extensions.

• OnyakTech Module Integration

  A new version of OnyakTech Custom Forms currently integrates with OnyakTech Social. Look for additional support for OnyakTech Social in other OnyakTech DNN modules like Cyon, Axon, User Manager Pro and more!
