The suit works for me.
On a new box with a new 2008 r2 installation and dnn was setup default with WebPlatform Installer, the product simply is unable to restore. Reaction from the helpdesk : The error is “CREATE DATABASE permission denied”. This is ‘outside’ the module. This permission has to be configured on the Database server. If you don’t ‘own’ the database server (ISP / hosted site) you cannot fix it. You should ask them to grant this permission. Most probably they will say ‘no’. If this is the case, instead of ‘native’, you should try a ‘script’ kind of database backup & restore.
