This module provides a simple solution for building Mobile web site. It can detect mobile devices and change the page skin and module container dynamically. It can also display the modules only related with detected devices and hide other modules. In this way, you need not have to build pages or sub portals for mobile devices. It’s very easy to use. You can set up your web site for mobile devices in minutes.
Features:
- It will detect mobile devices by comparing the user agent with defined patterns. The iPad and general mobile phone patterns are built in the module. You can define custom patterns easily.
- You can define theme that can relate with one or more mobile devices( user agents). A theme includes the skin of a page and the container of the modules in the page.
- You can set modules in a page that will be shown in each theme.
- You can allow users to select themes.
- The page chameleon will hide itself automatically if “allow users to select themes” is disabled.

It's very easy to build mobile web site by using
1. Add Page chameleon in the home page of your web site.
2. Add themes for mobile devices.
3. (Optional) Copy the page chameleon into other pages that you want to hide modules for mobile device.
FAQs
Do I have to add an instance of page chameleon in each page of my web site?
No. It’s not necessary. If you only want to change themes of your web site, you can add it in the home page only. If you want to hide modules for mobile devices, you can copy the page chameleon by using “Add Existing Module” feature of DotNetNuke.
Does the page chameleon detect the user agent every time when a same device visits my web site?
No. Generally it will detect it only when the device visits your web site first time.
System Requirement
It can work with DotNetNuke 6.1+ including DNN 7.x and 8.x. It’s built with VS 2010 and uses C# as program language.
