Bravo Theme // Unlimited Colors // Responsive // Bootstrap 3 // Retina // DNN 6/7/8/9

user icon Front facing design is very nice. Admin however is horrible. Very difficult to edit this skin if you are not a programmer.. Not suitable for DNN 8 or 9 if you plan to import the demo site. Support has been completely non-responsive.

user icon I like the end result but I can never get the site to install the way it does in the documentation. May be a DNN issue but it takes 3-4 tries if it works at all. Still the best skins on the market for DNN

user icon I'm sure you're not happy with updating many sites; but I'm positive that you wouldn't be happier if simply ignored the threat. DNN itself goes through several critical updates every year. We're proud of our team for quickly identifyingthe threat and patchingall affected products. By the way, DNN 9.1 resolves the import/export issue that you were earlier referring to. It's indeed a DNN issue.

user icon I was an early user of this software. I was always promised "fixes" in the newest update however that update never happened within the free update period. Potentially good product backed by complete lack of response.

user icon Module stopped working (for no apparent reason) and ZERO support from the vendor after multiple attempts.

user icon Absolutely zero support regarding a feature I asked about even months before I made the purchase. I would steer clear of this product. I've been trying to get help on an obvious bug for months. Buy at your own risk and be prepared to support it yourself. I really wanted this product to work.

Contact Us / Online Registration / Custom Form Builder v 2.13
Greg N (21) Visit Reviewers Website says... 4 4.0

user icon Four stars for the price. I wish I could adjust the width of the label column. The description "field types for all uses" is a complete fib. There are only four. There's no check box or radio buttons for example. (would be a nice adder). Otherwise for simple contact forms, sufficient and simple. Online registration is pushing it a little without more field types.

user icon Thanks for your feedback. Glad you like the price :) In your version - v2.08 - we used to suggest combo boxes for everything - like 'YES/NO' etc. But now - in v2.13, radio buttons and check boxes are a great improvement - thanks for the suggestions. And we've made the label column width adjustable too. In fact there have been lots of upgrades since v2.08! These include lots more fields types, lots more formatting flexibility. Check out v2.13. Hope you like what we've done.
DNN Expandable Text/HTML 3.5.0

user icon Glad I didn't have to buy this. It worked on the first page but won't copy over to other pages (a very common use for a module like this). Had to remove and look for options. (DNN 5.5)

Drag and Drop Form Builder 2.5
Greg N (21) Visit Reviewers Website says... 1 1.0

user icon This module has terrific potential...if it would actually work. I have spent countless hours troubleshooting and trying to execute workarounds so I could use this module on just two different sites. The support team is very defensive and usually blame something on the site itself although they are responsive. They gave me an upgrade to my purchase however that just seemed to feed the fire. I will update this review if I find that the problems go away but for right now, I don't think this module is ready for primetime unless you're a programmer yourself.

user icon Thanks Greg for your review. However, this module has been sold for hundreds of clients for its innovation. The 2.5 version sales are growing faster than old versions with no such complaints. We offered you refunds, and our developers already sent you suggestions and possible causes for the problems at your side to help you as much as we can. If those issues were real problems in our module, we would be more than happy to fix them and avoid their occurrence with other and future clients. Thanks again.
Fusion 2.2 :: jQuery Menu / XML Flash Banner/ 20 colors / DNN4 & 5
Greg N (21) says... 2 2.0

user icon Skin is inflexible and help from the developer has been meager at best. It is impossible to remove the banner area and while that is appropriate for the home page, it is a space hog on the inner pages. I've had to replace this skin with something more versatile.

Script Injector 2.8 (New)
Greg N (21) Visit Reviewers Website says... 5 5.0

user icon Support confirmed that this module would work before I ever purchased it. Of all the scrip injectors on Snowcovered, this one seems to be the only one capable of handling our requirements right out of the box. Good product and good support. I wouldn't look anywhere else if you need a scrip injector for your project.

user icon DXDNN - GREAT SUPPORT. This company stands behind their work and went well beyond the call of duty to make sure we were happy with this purchase. Put them at the top of your list.

AliCommerce 2.1 community edition
Greg N (21) Visit Reviewers Website says... 3 3.0

user icon AliCommerce is a bold effort but you still need some programming skills to get it to look and work right. I can't recommend it for an end client for this reason. Support is limited to forums and emails and frankly hasn't been that great. Ultimately, I purchased this and we're limping along with it but I don't have a very happy client as a result (which leaves me kind of in the middle). Ultimately installing and running AliCommerce has left me looking for options.

user icon You don't need any programming skills to set up an alicommerce store. The storefront is css div based, so you have full control of it. If you want to create a decent store like www.littlesparkles.com.au, you do need to be comfortable with css. Regarding technical support, I have to admit the quality of our technical support hadn't been very consistent before this January, but we have kept improving it and it's much better and consistent now. Also more support channels (phone support and IM support) will be provided in the future.
Youtube Media List 2.0 (New + Free)
Greg N (21) says... 1 1.0

user icon I've purchased skins and modules from these guys. I think the products are OK if you can get them to work. Don't expect stellar response. Documentation is horrible. Forums don't seem to be responsive. Overall, unless you are very conversant with DNN and can troubleshoot code, I would recommend that you consider your options. I've never got a module or skin to work out of the box and help is not there when you need it.

Greg N (21) says... 3 3.0

user icon Looks cool until you actually try to use it. Make sure you have a very specific application in mind if you want to use this and don't plan on getting too fancy with a logo. The skin is functional, just not as flexible as I'd hoped. I hope these guys do more though because the creativity is obviously there. It definitely caught my eye.

Custom Forms Pro - 04.01.30

user icon There are a lot of form builders out there. This is one of the best I've found for it's versatility and simplicity. Support has been great as well. I highly recommend this form builder for all or your basic form building requirements. I used it on my clients site for resume' uploads and entering basic job app requirements.

Dynamic Forms 6.0
Greg N (21) says... 3 3.0

user icon Dynamic forms is a mixed bag. It's extremely powerful but with that comes a lot of confusion. I bought this because of the paypal integration and could never make that feature work. I ended up paying a 3rd party to implement for twice the cost of the module itself...so programmers didn't find it all that intuitive either. The module is solid but the more advanced features are confusing and in the case of simple forms, they can even get in the way.

user icon Well, maybe the module used to work but it doesn't anymore and support has gone by the wayside. Pass this one up - there are other SMS options on snowcovered which will probably work better
