user icon Potentially great, but a frustrating number of bugs and incompatibilities with DNN 7.2 , which wouldn't be an issue if the developer actually responded to requests for support. They do not provide any clear support channel or help desk/ticketing system.

Social Media Tabs 3.1

user icon Works perfectly out of the box. I had a question that was responded to, via email, almost instantly - on a Saturday. Couldn't ask for more.

80015 Combo Login 5.5.0 for DNN 5/4 Membership, Role, Profile, Paypal, Authorize.net, Worldpay, Ew
Robert M (8) says... 1 1.0

user icon Probably one of the biggest purchasing mistakes I ever made. The documentation is almost non-existent and consists of a walkthrough that was written for an earlier version of the module. Many important features unexplained. Cannot get basic functionality to work reliably with PayPal. Have requested assistance numerous times from their tech support - I get responses like, "We'll look into it and get back to you" and then I never hear from them again. Repeated attempts to contact net same results. Have asked for refund several times and developer will not respond.

XMod 5.5 - Forms Views and Lists
Robert M (8) Visit Reviewers Website says... 5 5.0

user icon Terrific support. I was able to build a custom course registration process/forms for my client using this module (and the requirements were moderately complex). I don't know how I would have done it with other modules or technologies given the time crunch I was under - and that's also money in my pocket. I keep coming back to XMod as my "go-to" module.

user icon Absolutely gorgeous skin, and my client is thrilled with the results. This skin worked perfectly, with no odd rendering artifacts. I shall be a repeat customer with DnnGraphics.

NavXP 2.0 - Customizable Menus and Advanced Navigation
Robert M (8) says... 5 5.0

user icon Not only is this the easiest to use, most full-featured, and most reliable menu module I've used (and I've used a few!) but Bogdan, the developer, provides support that has left me breathless. Even during pre-sales, he responded nearly *immediately* to questions (at all hours of the day and night) and added in totally new menu types and features almost as quickly as I could ask about them. The ability to construct menu hierarchies arbitrarily that are independent of your site's page hierarchy is a killer feature too. I can't wait to explore some of the XSLT rendering support for further customization.. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. At this price, this is a complete no-brainer...buy it!

Vision Flash Skins 5.0 :: 10 Colours
Robert M (8) says... 5 5.0

user icon The visual design speaks for itself. There are a lot of "beautiful" skins here on Snowcovered, and I've bought many of them. This however is the first package that actually works close to the ideal - it adjusts itself gracefully in the presense of all types of content, has a huge variety of container combinations. The CSS is comprehensible and tweakable without bad side effects. The included PSD should serve as a template of the "right" way to organize a skin in Photoshop. Support requests answered promptly and they provided everything I asked for (and then some) I will definitely do business with this great company again!

Magenta Clear _3_ Skin Pack
Robert M (8) says... 1 1.0

user icon Did not play well with DNN 4.8 - exceptions when trying to apply certain containers. Rendering errors of page and menus (entire page form jumps/flashes when menus are hovered over) and hyperlinks disappear when hovered over. Vendor took 9 days to respond to email requests for support, and then only after issue was escalated directly to Snowcovered (Claimed they never got my emails, however, every one of them was answered by an auto-responder). Vendor provided a partial fix, which, did address some of the major problems cited, however, in the process of fixing some, they also broke half of the skins by somehow removing all but the main content regions from the layouts. I immediately tried to contact them regarding this and 3 days later and I continue to get no response on this issue...very frustrating.
