Skin works well. The supplier is friendly and responded with some amendments I needed to make skin work in my application.
Excellent skin, very classy images. Works without problems on DNN6x and DNN7x. No browser compatibility anomalies. Highly recommended.
Excellent response from Nigel!
I initially had problems with the date format, and the default email address for the reminder.
Nigel added these features in a matter of hours.
It's just the job for a quick alternative to the native DNN Events module - which has many problems in upgrading.
This is a lovely piece of work. Just buy it! The manual is excellent, and it installed and worked straight away. Read the manual and understand that 1: The Search Admin is auto installed in the Host menu and 2: You need to double-click in the Host¬Scheduler to make the spider crawl!
It works just fine on DNN 5.1.4 (Latest at time of writing).
This is a fine example of excellence in DNN.
This is not a DNN Stand-alone module.
It doesn't work on DNN.
It will install without error but then fails dramatically when instantiated on page, giving an unfriendly and unhelpful error message.
The Author expects you to know this:
It is an add-on to Freeway Nemo ($ expensive). You cannot run ES DD 2.0 without first purchasing and installling Freeway Nemo full version.

I am very impressed with the Skin pack. I've tested them on screens from palmtop to large lcd, on MSIE, Firefox and Opera. (I don't recommend Opera for DNN Admins work).
The Skin Pack options are not just design-time options. They are end-user browser-selectable options. (There's a neat floating toolbar for the user to use.). There are 4 themes, and for each one there is one of 3 layout widths, and one of 3 text size options.
Once they download first time, the themes are quick to switch.
PLUS: It is the only skin I have found that validates on W3C. If you are supplying a portal website to any publicly funded body, they'll insist on every page validating to CSS and XHTML.
If you build a DNN Portal with other skins, you'll get hundreds of W3C validation failures. dnnskin.net's skins have one drawback... No hiding place for non compliant content! The onus is now on the developer to write fully compliant validated content in html! The skin won't be the source of the errors.
Have a good look at this simple module before purchase.
