This developer ignores support requests and doesn't stand behind their products. This gallery is so poorly tested they didn't even bother to correct spelling errors. Not only that, there is no mass-upload or sort ability. This module is a total waste of time. It should also be noted that this developer is OBLIVIOUS to IE8 compatibility. I would exercise strong caution when dealing with this developer as I now have a product ($58) that is a throw away and the developer refuses to discuss the issue or offer remedy.
Excellent bootstrap skin. We like their skins and their attention to detail. Falllbacks down to IE8 also. Job well done.
Ok, so this is a great module for people running legacy DNN sites with old HTML markup that need to bring them up to validation standards. Sure. you could go ahead and run some kind of real time parser or html pre-renderer and set replacement values but that just mucks up your DNN install with junk.
This helped me get all my HTML content across 230 pages of website to validate in about 10 minutes. Done.
There is a free DIY solution to the above problem, but Canam's module offers something above and beyond a simple DIY find / replace query.
First, It shows you all instances of the "find" criteria you have entered, where they exist and even lets your run a test execute. The test execute shows you what the code will look like with the propsed change (replace) will look like.
For visual verification, On execute, the module shows you exactly what was changed. You'll see the pages and what the new source snippet looks like with the change (before and after).
Nice job Ca
Absolute Junk. I installed this and the server hard locked even before I had placed a module, forcing me to reboot. After reboot I uninstalled and recompiled DNN and things were fine for several hours - nice low CPU usage.
I decided to reinstall just to see if I was nuts, and the server hard locked again. If you buy this application after reading this, you'd have to be a little crazy.
This outfit is a joke. Latest DNN update broke the menu. Attempt to contact developer resulted in this response: "We are busy with another release and do not plan on updates anytime soon." I wouldn't ever by anything from this developer because they do not stand behind their product.
This is a deadbeat seller. I submitted a support ticket 3 weeks ago and never received a response. I submitted a follow up a week and a half later and still didn't get a reply. Even after adding a negative feedback rating I still never received a reply from Bonosoft. In my opinion, this type of seller probably doesn't belong here.. and I feel I wasted my money.
I bought portal store to manage registrations for events. I really like all the options that this has, and it's ability to register users during process. The cart has great "buy it now" buttons you can put on any page, so you can really customize your product pages any way you want. What adds to the value of the purchase is the fact that you can use Portal Store on any of your Portals as the license is for a single installation of DNN.
If you are going to buy this, don't purchase it in the "final hour". You will need some time to read through the install docs prior to install. You will also need time to get acclamated to the cart system and how it works. After reading the docs carefully and running through the pre-install "checklist" I was able to get Portal Store up and running without issues (ouside of a DNN 4.3.3 issue which is now fixed)
Once I got through the learning curve, which did take a few hours, I found Portal Store to be a speedy way to deploy products for sure. There are a host of options and option groups, which basically allow you to create customized bundles of products any way you wish.
Had a few small issues (with upgrade to 4.3.3, etc.) and Richard Cox and team provided excellent support and released an update to fix the issue. Communication was excellent via the Snowcoved support system. Be sure if you are purchasing that you also register at Richards site after purchase and register your purchase their under "downloads>customer downloads". I was able to get updates that were not yet available at Snowcovered, which saved me much time.
Absolute garbage, and a worthless software company. Menu does not have "Fly In" subcategories as advertised, isn't working on my system and after 3 weeks and 5 emails I get no support from either Snowcovered nor developer of Leftnavi. I would strongly caution anyone against purchasing anything from this company at all. Note that I have spent $500 on mods here for my DNN and haven't had problems with any of it until my purchase of Leftnavi.
