You cannot use this module without first installing another program.
You can't use this module without adding their other product, '2sxc' to your instance of DNN.
The result is: when you try to upload this module to your DNN website (as if it were a normal DNN module) through the extension manager, you will get an error message that says something like: 'You're uploading it wrong!' When you read further, you can see that they want you to download and install their 2sxc software, app, platform or whatever it is.
To be fair, I have not tried their 2sxc product, so I can't give you a review of it, It could be a very nice product for all I know, but it still seems that there should be a message right from the beginning to let you know you will need another product in order to use this module.
This is a rare and wonderful forms module because it allows visitors to upload their files in a variety of formats. The interface has come a long way since early versions and is quite pleasant to work with now. There are some minor issues with device responsiveness and Customer service is restricted to their ticketing system only and it always takes hours or sometimes days to get a response, which is often less than helpful. You can't send them emails or call them except in extreme emergencies and there is no live chat to assist you. Even if you try to put in a question to the DNN store to ask questions about this module, it will automatically direct you to the Mandeeps ticketing system and close all further communications.
This is a pretty good module. It looks good and is easy to configure.
This iFrame module is a wonderful gift to the web development community. It allows you to place a little window to another site on one of your pages. It's fully customisable and easy to configure. Thank you so much for this excellent little module.
This modules really gives you the 'WOW factor' if you can figure out how to properly configure it. I recommend it for advanced users.
This is one of my go-to modules that always works where nothing else will. The rendering can be somewhat unpredictable sometimes, but most issues can be resolved by persistently altering the html on a variety of browsers.
This Unlimited Responsive Skin package is being constantly reinvented, and it gets better every time.
Better still, you will get excellent, timely, first rate support with this package and all others I've tried from this vendor.
This was a beautiful and clever Skin. The documentation was easy to follow and there were plenty of page templates to get you started. I would happily recommend this skin, even to new web designers.
This is an efficient, versatile and surprisingly clever little blog module. If you haven't worked with the licensing process before, it can be frustrating at first, but hang in there, it does make sense once you get your head around it. No complaints here.
This is a great beautiful skin package with plenty of surprising bootstrap components, page templates and well written documentation. I haven't found any bugs or unexpected issues. Porto2 was a delight to install and configure.
X-Blog has become my go-to blog module because it is so versatile, beautiful and well designed. I've used it many times and none of the blogs look like the others. The cost is reasonable, especially considering that you can use more than one instance on the portal and they will both serve completely different purposes. Well done DNNGo.
OnyaTech has some really good ideas, but there is always an 'MS DOS' feel to them and configuration is pretty limited. This module is easy to buy, install and set up, but there are strict limitations to what you can do with it.
This Skin package features the 'skin plugin' for quick and easy site-wide skin customisations from any page. It has also won me over because of the great many options given in their layout tables. No matter where you want to drop your module, there is a space available, even if you want to put it in a parallax space, or two, all needs are accommodated.
They are also getting very clever with their importable pages and this is this (in my opinion) is where they are really starting to stand out above their competition. You don't even need to have much documentation, just insert the carousel page, and you have all of the data for carousels that you need right there in your website. Looking to install accordion boxes, insert the page and all the options and working modules are right there for you to copy into you existing page and reconfigure at will. Brilliant!
dozens of websites with this Skin Package and all of them will look completely different to the others, but be aware: you can install it on other portals, but you need to relicense the key modules for every instance, even if you bought the $150 version like I did.
This is a great little module, especially for the price. It isn't really obvious that you are only purchasing one of the many amazing effects that are available, so just be aware of that. Purchasing and licensing processes are still a bit cumbersome, especially when going through their site instead of the DNNstore, but it's still worth it. The module itself is very easy to install and configure and works just as you would expect it to every time. It's logical, it looks great on mobile devices and through different browsers and gives plenty of opportunity for customisation. I'm certain to use it again for other projects.
Loved using this beautiful skin and its many amazing features. There were some issues with the installation process, as it didn't work like the documentation said it would, (the site could not find the files once they were installed exactly as the documentation directed) but my capable host was able to sort it out in the end.
Documentation was so much better in the old t-Worx skin packages, I was missing the step-by-step pdf 'users manuals' like the created for their 'Vivid Skin' years ago and found it difficult to find specific information with the new type of documentation. Also, the galleries have some unusual functionality that never did get resolved, still waiting to hear back from customer support now (3 days later). Finally, I ended up purchasing a gallery from a separate vendor in order to get the site launched on time. Customer service was a bit lack-lustre, with several days between each email and incorrect information being given when I did hear back, but the communication level was highly pleasant and courteous when they did reply. Overall - the brilliant Aquae skin package was amazing to work with once installed, it has many clever boot-strap features and fun animated modules that are at the same time subtle and eye-catching. I recommend the Aquae skin.
