A really useful module.
I am simply open mouthed as I set this up for the first time. Amazing, clear interface nd control plus it can play H264 to iThings. Brilliant.
It is often only when there is a problem that you really get to know what sort of company you are dealing with. I just want to say nice things about the very quick, professional and effective support I have just had from staff at the Data springs support forum but then I suppose I just have. Nice to know that it is there if needed. Very Happy.
VERY good and very effective support. IMO: This is by far the most versatile of all the menu modules.
I have been using DNN since 2006 and have bought many menu modules most of which did what they where supposed to (more or less).
A new project with hundreds of pages had me looking for a menu that offered the scope to deal with so many pages in effective ways and so I am more than pleased to have found NavXP
This menu has so many nice touches and is so well implemented it's difficult to know where to start. The interface is fantastic - very logical and it is easy to get the results you want - you can even edit a skin object menu instance from it. I am well used to editing menu css but so far I have not needed to - using the interface is actually fun and a couple of times I found myself clapping my hands at a feature.
I would totally recommend this menu to those who find menu css a little daunting. You can still edit in the normal way using a text editor and here again I am loved the well abstracted and commented css / xml.
I got my 3 menu's on a page all looking at different
IMO: This is an excellent menu, not cluttered with any user interface nor complicated by multiple style sheets or pages of xml.
It does exactly what it needs to do. I had a strange css issues and found the support to be quick and accurate.
The fact that it can be used to replace the solpart actions menu has just dug me out of a big issue.
Excellent value too.
This module has solved a significant problem for me. Previously the members of my yacht club website would send me emails with 10's of megabytes of image files or I would have to talk them through the joys of windows ftp. Now they simply login and use this very simple control. I bought this early on and some minor early problems where quickly resolved by Greg. The move to the Beta2 of Silverlight came soon after and I now have this running and in use on my production site.
I know Greg has further plans to enhance features and he does seem to listen to feedback. I feel it's money well spent. In fact I would have paid much more to solve this problem.
Be aware that you do need to make a minor addition to your web config to use Silverlight.
I have given this 4 stars as there is more to come and Greg's support times are quite fast.
This module does all I wanted and a lot more. Its well thought out and easy to use. I wish I had bought this one before 3 other offerings.
Don't be put off by their sometimes slow site. The code runs fine. Very Good Value
What an excellent module. Its easy to use, cleverly abstracted, the importer module saves lots of time.
I had some install concerns but these where answered quickly. The manual is reasonable and better than many. Best and most importantly - the Client thinks its fantastic. I can see me buying an enterprise version.
Very pleased !
This module does not address the eola (click to activate ) issue so in my opinion it is not fit for purpose.
BTW: As an experieced dnner and long time photoshop user I was unable to display a single image.
I want my money back.
Well - it turns out an lod version was still on SC.
Chad at datasprings got back to me on a saturday evening with a fix. Very good - you can't ask for more really.
A very good module, easy to configure and style. Useful behaviour is that target content is not moved. I had an access rights problem and got a reponse on a Sunday from Mandeep who had a patch in ready in 24 hrs and then a new version the following day. I think CSS Tabs is a good solution for many cont display problems.
This is the most productive DNN forms module I have ever bought. It is VERY quick and easy to use. The interface is an object lesson in how to reduce clicking and waiting. In my opinion also FormMaster provides the best method of layout I have ever seen in a module.
I think this really hits the target. I can layout complex forms that look great and do it quickly.
I would very much like to see the Reporting features expanded but even now they are more useful than most.
Anyone noticed that there seems not to be one adverse comment on this module ?
It seems obvious (or not) that if we want people to read the marketing or other messages on our sites they first need to be able to read them. XFlex seems to be unique and solves a serious issue for anyone building sites that need to be accessible.
Its fast, easy to incorporate. XFlex has solved a very real problem for me and I am sure it will do so for many others.
If you struggled with the only alternative you are going to like this module. Hooray
